Ms. Wang from Beijing bought an electric bicycle , and this electric bicycle lead to the death of a person during an accident. The accident not only led to Ms. Wang's being sent to jail for 15 months, but also compensate nearly 120,000USD to the victim's family members. After she was released from prison, Ms. Wang found that electric bicycles is a electric bicycle excess standard and need a license, so the producers and sellers have beening sued to Beijing Haidian court by her.
It turned out that December 3rd, 2008, she bought a white electric bicycle produced by a Taiwan company in Haidian District at Mr. Li's electric scooter shop.Dealer special instructed this electric bicycle is in line with national requirements and can be on the road with a license of electric bicycles, Mr. Lee issued an invoice under the name of Beijing Hongda Trading Company Limited . Unfortunely, this company haven't been registered in the industrila and administration department , this company use a business license under the name of  Beijing Tao Zhu Business Center, later Tao Zhu Business Center provide a purhcase certificate to Ms. Wang.
On October 19, 2014, Ms. Wang driving the electric bicycle in a non-motor vehicle from south to north,and hit Mr.Hua who riding a bicycle from south to west,at the East crossing of  Wanshou Road and Taiping Road, Mr.Hua had an injury and died.After six years, dealers and manufacturers beening sued to the court just because consumer riding a electric bicycle sold or manufactured by them.A electric bicycle has been used for 6 years is absolutely with good quality. What a pity the dealers and manufactures are !
Ms. Wang believes that she bought an electric bicycle, and seller sold a electric motorcycle need a license, is the seller's behavior lead to her  loss, so Mr. Li, Tao Zhu Business Center and the Taiwan electric company beening sued to the court, being asked to be responsible for the compensation of economic loss nearly 150,000USD.
This lawsuit brought us more of a crisis,excessive electric bicycle has been in a serious weakness position on legal stauts. It seems that as long as excessive, it should bear all kinds of consequences. Even after 6 years, electric bicycle is almost scrapped, it can still cause trouble to manufacturers and dealers.It is a pity cuased by the inperfection of instituation.
